OUR HISTORY

“Not who starts, but the one who perseveres”

Stile Libero was founded by Andrea Citton in 2008. The concept is clear, the purpose ambitious: to create design products that transcend both aesthetics and practicality. Customisable furniture designed to blend together with spaces and enhance the rooms they enrich. Objects that are capable of inspiring emotions.

During the spare time, this new journey started to take shape, and the early sketches gradually turned into reality.
In 2010, after two years of research and development, Ergo, the company's first product, was released. That same year brought the first major recognition: the award for new ideas and projects promoted by the Province of Treviso.

Although, 2011 marked a temporary setback.
For personal reasons, Andrea has decided to put the recently started journey on hold.
However, in the years that followed, the dream of bringing the project back to life never faded; it waited for the right moment to get it off the ground again.

7 February 2023 marks the start of a new chapter.
This time it is Riccardo del Ben, a friend of Andrea’s who, while chatting by chance, finds himself captivated by the story of Ergo and the business venture that has been put on hold.
From here onwards, the two partners started working on the venture in their spare time and in their home garage, committed to bringing the project back to life – a project that is now ready to be discovered.

MADE IN ITALY

"Behind everything we create, there are hands, faces and stories."

Today, we can proudly celebrate Ergo's achievements, and we owe this to those small local businesses that have worked alongside us from the very beginning, supporting us with their time,
expertise and commitment.
We have chosen to collaborate exclusively with locally-based artisans in order to preserve an inestimable heritage.
In an age ruled by mass production, we choose to value those who persevere through their hard work and talent.
We believe in concrete values, and we appreciate collaborating with partners whose names we personally know.
We firmly trust that authentic art should remain alive and be transmitted to future generations.
With deepest appreciation and gratitude to all our suppliers and partners.
